Until the changes of the reform come into force, the existing law will continue to apply.
The reform to stabilise the AHV (AHV 21) was adopted in the referendum of 25 September 2022.
However, the changes voted on 25 September 2022 are not expected to come into force until 1 January 2024. Until then, the existing law will continue to apply, including the retirement of women at the age of 64.
